Double Quick Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Great dinner rolls--my family of 5 (3 sons!) ate 18 of them at dinner tonight. I substituted garlic powder for the onion powder because that is what I had & it was tasty. After the first raising, I put my dough in a covered bowl in the refrigerator (I was gone for a few hours). When I got home, I put the dough in the muffin tins and then put them right into the oven--no time for the second raising and they still turned out delicious!

Cinnamon Swirl Bundt Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
What a yummy treat! I doubled the cinnamon/sugar filling (making it with brown sugar). I added 1 t. cinnamon to the batter. I also sprinkled cinnamon/sugar onto the sprayed pan before putting the batter in. I topped the cooled cake with vanilla glaze (recipe on this site). I baked it exactly as the directions, but covered the cake for the last 10 minutes because it seemed to be getting a little dark. The cake was dense and moist--just like coffee cake should be!

Vanilla Glaze

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
Great glaze! I added the confectioners' sugar last and then only added 1 c. I added milk 1 t. at a time until it was the right consistency I needed (abt. 3 t. more). It was perfect!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
Wonderful recipe! I made it with 1 1/4 lbs. of ground turkey and added 1/2 c. chopped onion and 4 cloves minced garlic for added flavor. I only made half the recipe for the glaze on top and left the mustard out. (My family doesn't like too much sauce on things.) I cooked it for 10 minutes extra since I put in more meat. The mini loaves came out moist and tasty!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
Incredible crust! I will definitely be making this again and again. The whole pizza was good, but the crust made it wonderful. Even my kids ate the crust on the edge, when normally they tend to leave it on their plates. Thank you for a great recipe.

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
This recipe is definitely a keeper--tasted great! I used oat flour for half the flour (& added 1/4 c. more). For the oil I used 1/3 c. each of applesauce, butter, & oil. I also measured heaping teaspoons of cinnamon for an extra cinnamon flavor. My family ate this bread right up--I'll be making another batch soon!
