Garlic and Herb Bread

Good, but a little to herby tasting. I will leave out some of the other herbs next time and add a little more garlic. Good texture.

Quiche Lorraine I

Didn't use a big enough pie crust so all my egg mixture didn't fit. It made the quiche a little too cheesy. Make sure you use a deep dish pie crust and next time I will add some cheddar cheese and a little swiss cheese too.

Cheese Vegetable Soup I

It does not have an appealing look when cooked and the first bite was the hardest to take, but overall it had a good taste. After talking the kids and husband into trying it they liked it. Needed a little more zip so next time I will add a little more cayenne for extra flavor!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Wonderful flavor. I didn't have any pepper steak, but had beef sirloin tips and used those instead and it wasn't quite as tender, but the flavor was excellent and very simple. I will try again with pepper steak.

Very good. I left the onions out because my husband is not a onion eater and added sour cream after it had been cooked. Next time I will try it as the recipe called for.

Chicken and Corn Chili

Very easy, different main dish to try. Didn't like the looks of it cooking, but when it was done the tasting said it all. Wonderful. We eat ours as a dip with corn chips and added cheese and sour cream. Yummy!

Mall Pretzels

Cinnamon Rolls I

I was dissappointed in this recipe. First off it should be called caramel rolls instead of cinnamon. They were very time consuming to make and dough was very difficult to work with. Not a favorite at my house.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

My kids and husband loved the taste and the wide egg noodles. Made a huge portion. Wish there was some easier less time consuming way to get the broth without spending a fortune on canned broth. Other than that it is a winner. I froze half of my batch because it made so much, but the noodles didn't fair well. I would freeze half before adding noodles and for a quick supper one night boil egg noodles and add to defrosted soup.
