Sweet and Savory Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
I followed this recipe exactly. I'm not sure I will make this again. It was a LOT of work and I'm not sure it was worth the effort. The taste was ok but I think it could have been better. I used Sweet Baby Rays as the BBQ sauce. In the end the taste was just bland. I ended up adding a little misquite flavoring, worchestershire and red hot just to try to spice it up a little.

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly as written but I pulled the ribs out of the oven after 2 1/2 hours and coated them with the sauce and returned to the oven for another 45 minutes. The meat completely fell off the bones! It was sooo good.

This was so easy and sooo good. I did not use the honey and it tasted great without it.

Apple Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
This was so yummy! I made it for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. My only complaint was it overflowed and dripped all over the bottom of my oven causing alot of smoke and a small fire in the bottom of my oven. That won't stop me from making it again. Next time I will be better prepared and put foil down!

Zucchini Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This recipie is really good. The only thing I did different was after you sauté your veggies add the spaghetti sauce to the frying pan and stir well. Cover the pan and simmer for 20 minutes, then add cheese to the top, recover and continue to cook until cheese melts. It saves on time and dishes!

Kathy's Roast and Vegetables

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
Since trying this recipe I have never gone back to the way I used to make a roast! It is so yummy! The only change I made is I add 1 cup of water in the croc while mixing the soups together. I even use the soup mixture from the croc to make gravy. Just strain 3 cups of soup mixture from croc pot into a small skillet. In a small jar with lid combine 1/4 cup cold water and 3 T flour; shake to blend. Gradually stir flour mixture into soup mixture with whisk. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

I can't get enough of this recipe! It is so good. I did follow other reviewers suggestions and made the dipping sauce and added matchstick carrots on top. Also I used iceburg lettuce.

Beer Margaritas

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
For the beer I used Bud Light Lime and it tasted awsome! My husband thought that it was too sour so next time I won't squeeze the juice from the lime into the pitcher like another reviewer suggested.
