I just recently relocated to GA from PA. My hubby got transferred. I am a mother of one but and expecting my second child.
My favorite things to cook
Growing up my favorite foods were lasagna and meatloaf. I still love to cook either but I have developed a love for spicy foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I loved picking berries as a child for my grandma to make wonderful pies with.
My cooking triumphs
I think the love to cook was placed in my genes. I consider both my grandma and mom great cooks. I just think that it is a triumph that I love to cooks because I know so many of my friends hate it or are scared to do it.
My cooking tragedies
I can not make pie dough from scratch like my grandma always did. I just can't do it right!

Sweet and Savory Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
I followed this recipe exactly. I'm not sure I will make this again. It was a LOT of work and I'm not sure it was worth the effort. The taste was ok but I think it could have been better. I used Sweet Baby Rays as the BBQ sauce. In the end the taste was just bland. I ended up adding a little misquite flavoring, worchestershire and red hot just to try to spice it up a little.

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs
I followed the recipe exactly as written but I pulled the ribs out of the oven after 2 1/2 hours and coated them with the sauce and returned to the oven for another 45 minutes. The meat completely fell off the bones! It was sooo good.
