Baked Teriyaki Chicken
This recipe appealed to me as soon as I read it. I appreciate the other reviews which mentioned the excess saltiness so I was able to cut down the amount of soy sauce, not having any of the low sodium variety. I also cut down on the amount of sugar. I also had some boneless thighs to use up and used some boneless breast meat to use as well, so I was glad of the guidance from the others suggesting the reduced times and reduced temperature. I added the thighs first and gave them 10 minutes more than the cut up breast meat and basted all at the 10, 20 and 30 minute mark with just another 5 minutes to coat all before serving over rice. I normally salt my rice but in this case let it cook without based on other reviews mentioning the saltiness. It did the trick. Thanks, Allrecipes and readers who offered their reviews. :-) I have enough left over for another meal for the two of us and will definitely use this recipe again.

Lavash Cracker Bread
I made this for the first time today and I am wondering if I will get better at it. The results were delicious but it took me over 5 hours. I couldn't keep up with the rolling in order to get them into the oven and so I ended up rolling the rest of the dough and then turning the oven back on - only the last 10 or so were usable as they had stuck together. I don't know whether to oil them or flour them more to keep them separate and I don't have enough space to lay them all out while waiting so that is why I stacked them. If I try these again I will experiment with using my pasta machine to do the rolling and then cut off sections to bake. In any case it was fun trying and as I said they are delicious. I am eating one right now!

Pistachio Crusted Chicken
My husband and I have never tasted such tender chicken. I didn't have pistachios so I made this with pine nuts, but I plan to get some pistachios for the next time. I will certainly be sharing this with all my friends.
