Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
Yummy recipe. It's quick and easy. I didn't have the bread crumbs so I made my own and took the reviews advice and put lots of spices that we like, like cajun, salt, pepper and parmesan. It was good. Thank you

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2006
These are so good. I added salt and baking powder like the reviews suggested. A friend of mine came over and she had one, and said that they taste like a brand name cookie you buy at the store. That disappointed me because I do not want my home made cookies tasting like they were bought. The important thing is that my family loved theme and so did her son.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2006
We loved this lasagna. I used cottage cheese instead of ricotta. My son gave me a big hug when he saw I was making lasagna with cottage cheese in it, because my original recipe doesn’t have cottage cheese. In my original recipe I use a pepperoni stick and cut it up in little pieces and it gives it a spicy taste, next time I make this lasagna I’m putting pepperoni in it. I think it’s going to give it just what it needs, a little bit of spice flavor. Thank you.

Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2006
Wow this is really good. Unfortunately I forgot to put the cheese in before I put the top crust on so I had to put the cheese on our pieces after it was cooked. It gave me a pretty good idea on how it would have tasted if I had it right. I’m definitely making it again hopefully with the cheese in this time. Thank You!

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
Good! Fast and easy. I would make it again but probably try it with real bacon and fresh grated parmesan cheese but this would make it longer to prepare.

Perfect Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: May 17, 2006
This is really good! My old recipe is good but not like this one. The dill weed and french fried onions give it lots of flavour. I would not change a thing. Thanks Pam

Glazed Meatloaf II

Reviewed: May 18, 2006
This is a good recipe but I had to change it to much too really rate it accurately. First of all I used buffalo ground meat rather then beef, I hear that buffalo is a healthier, leaner cut of meat. I used soda crackers rather then bread and I used vinegar rather then lemon juice because my son the comedian had used up all my lemon juice in those cute little lemon shaped containers and refilled it with water. He confessed as he saw me ready to put lemon in my recipe. What a Kid! lol We had the leftovers in macaroni and a bit of tomato juice the next day. Good way to use up leftovers and it was really good.

This is an excellent dip. It’s so easy and fast. My family and friends all loved it. I can’t wait for strawberry season to be here because this dip is really good with strawberries we also had it with pineapple, grapes and cantaloupe. A great bring along dish.

What a good recipe, this is wonderful for a brunch or for a quick breakfast. My husband remembers having these when he was a kid, his father us to make them. They called them framed eggs.

Dash's Donair

Reviewed: May 21, 2006
I’m still giving this recipe a 5 star even thought I couldn’t get the sauce to thicken. We have donairs pretty often a Greco a restaurant that makes donairs, but it’s nice to be able to make them at home. And guys the sauce is suppose to be sweet that’s what makes it so good with the spice meat. If you have never had it before I can see how it’s a little different but give it a chance, you might not like it all that much at first but if you have it a few times you will get addicted. You can make so many different things with this sauce and meat, you can make a donair pizza, sub, burger, and it’s all good. We like to put lettuce on our donairs. Thank you Dash

Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding I

It was OK. My husband thinks there’s something missing from the recipe. I did not have any raisins; if I had maybe it would have turned out better I don’t know.

Pork and Pepper Stew

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
This is a really good recipe and I will make it again. I used one of the review suggestions and I cooked it in my slow cooker. I didn’t have any jalapeno peppers so I used cayenne pepper and I didn’t use quite enough, it wasn’t very hot. I also put the peppers in the last few hours of cooking time so they wouldn’t get all mushy and they turned out perfect.

Easy No Bake Cookies

Reviewed: May 29, 2006
I’ve made these cookies twice, the first time I didn’t have chocolate pudding on hand so I used butterscotch. The cookies had a nice flavor but they stayed really sticky and gooey not the consistency they should be. The second time I made them with chocolate pudding and I boiled for 3 min rather them 2 and they came out perfect. Good for us woman that need a chocolate fix once in a while.

Rhubarb Berry Jam

Reviewed: May 31, 2006
This is soooo good! And it’s very easy to make. I gave my Mother a jar and she loved it, she wants to have the recipe to make her own. We are getting my Aunt to try it out I’m guessing she is going to want the recipe also. I’ve never had rhubarb jam before and I’m glad I did. If you have never made jam before this is a good recipe to try, it’s easy, fast and very good.
