How to Make Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2014
SO easy (my 3 yr old helped make them) and the flavor is wonderful! I used parchment paper instead of foil for lining my pan and the bottoms came out lightly golden. Just perfect! Followed the recipe to a tee, except I had to make my own self-rising flour since I didn't have any on hand, by adding 1 teaspoon of salt and 3 teaspoons of baking powder to he 2 cups of all purpose flour.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2014
I have made this a couple of times and I just can't get enough! I don't even know why I make 8-10 servings because I love this dressing so much, I need to make more. I usually adjust the recipe to make less servings and follow it exactly. I wouldn't change a thing. I make my salad with italian mix lettuce, sliced cucumbers, Campari tomatoes, kalamata olives and traditional feta. It's amazing.

Paleo Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2014
I am doing a Whole Life Challenge and was craving some chili, but I needed a quick recipe, not a crock pot one. I didn't have chipotle and I can't have Worchestershire, but I substituted coconut aminos for it. I also doubled the recipe, and I am SO glad I did, this chili is FANTASTIC!!!! I feel like I am cheating, it's that good. I topped it with chopped avocado. PERFECTION.

Hawaiian Fried Won Tons

Reviewed: May 24, 2012
These were delicious! I probably would not have minded the oyster sauce, but I was taking these to work and I know a lot of people might be picky; therefore, I took someone's suggestion on the reviews and used pineapple juice, same amount. Made the rest of the recipe as is. These were a hit!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
This was EXCELLENT! I didn't have the frozen corn, but I had a can and just used that. I also didn't use the cayenne since I am not a fan of very spicy food, but I sprinkled a teeny bit of red pepper flakes in, a little bit of heat which my tastebuds can handle. I would think this would be amazing with some lime sprinkled on it, but I have not tried that yet. I will very soon!

Cheese-Stuffed Jalapenos

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2011
These are awesome. Prepare and let sit overnight if you want more heat. I actually add 1 pound of ground sausage- I brown it and mix it with the cream cheese while still hot and use that as a filling. I also wrap them in bacon vs topping with crumbles. Cut bacon slices in half and use one half per jalapeño or cut into thirds. Put a toothpick through if needed. I use turkey bacon as a healthier alternative and they are just as delicious!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
These are absolutely WONDERFUL! My only question is, is the batter supposed to be a bit gluey? I was so worried they were going to come out bad, but thankfully they were fine. Is that how it is supposed to be or might I have done something wrong? In any case, my husband said they were "freakin'" awesome! :) And I think so too! I didn't make any changes except add a few more blueberries, I followed this recipe true to form.

Cool Whipped Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
I got this recipe from a friend and usually make it with white chocolate pudding and no vanilla (she didn't give me that option), I ALWAYS get rave reviews (I always get asked what kind of frosting I used because it tastes so light and fluffy)- it does set up very well and decorates beautifully. I usually blend the milk with the Cool Whip in a mixer first, then sprinkle the pudding in little by little which helps result in a smoother frosting. I have also used chocolate flavored pudding, cheesecake flavored pudding, lemon, the possibilities are endless. Such a malleable recipe!

Fun Cookie Suckers

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
I made these cookies exactly by the recipe and they came out wonderful. I may add a bit more sugar next time, maybe a quarter cup more, but other than that, the texture is wonderful, the dough colors very well and they were a hit at the baby shower I had (pink and brown were the colors of the cookies). Wonderful recipe, I can't wait to make it with other colors!
