I'm 21, and live with my boyfriend (who thankfully lives for food) and my daughter Naiomh, who was born in September 2005. Absolutely anything and everything - I'm always interested in new things. I'd have to say my specialities are definitely Italian foods, particularly pasta dishes. None of my immediate family were ever really avid cooks; my sister dabbles from time to time due to her home economics classes at school but generally, I'm the only one. My Christmas dinner in 2005. It was my first ever attempt, and my boyfriend and I had just moved into our new house. Our friend brought us a bottle of champagne, which I drank while cooking, and yet it all turned out perfectly. The previous night I'd marinaded some winter vegetables and made my own stuffing - from scratch! - and it all came together so well, my boyfriend said it was better than his mother's! Praise indeed, I thought. We all have them....I'll admit that I accidentally flooded my Christmas creamed potatoes with milk; I wasn't looking as I poured it in and ended up salvaging it by making a potato soup from it.
