Teriyaki Marinade

Used this on asteak yesterday. I substituted honey for the sugar...I just like honey better with soy sauce and I didn't have any dried onion flakes so I added some onion powder. Really liked it, wish I would have left the steak marinade even more to soak up that wonderful flavor.

Carnation® Raisin Bread Pudding

Great recipe, especially because I just came home from a trip with some great Italian bread that was a couple days olf from my favorite Italian store and I had no milk in the house buut I almost always have Carnation evaporated milk. I only made a 1/2 batch and think next time I might a little bit more of the spices, but it was still wonderful.

Marzetti® Ultimate Roasted Potatoes and Onions

My review is probably not 100% fair because I left out the onions and parsley and chives, because I was looking for a recipe just to use up some fingerling potatoes I had and roasting them then adding the blue cheese was just wonderful!! Will try again making the recipe as written, I'm sure it would be fabulous!

Honey Baked Lentils

I really liked these. I've been trying to encorporate more lentils in my diet and this was a great recipe for all. I did cut the recipe down to 2 servings and thought it still served at least 6 so you may not want to trust the serving size.

Whole Wheat Biscuits

I followed the recipe exact and found the flavor to be good, but the texture to be a bit grainy and crumbly instead of light and flakey...I think due to the whole wheat flour.

Barley Mushroom Risotto

This was pretty good...not sure if I'd exactly call it a risotto, but never the less, it was a good side dish. I made it exactly as written but cut it down to 3 servings. I did not need as much chicken broth, my barley was completly saturated with about a 1/2 cup left.

Buttermilk Pecan Chicken

This was good, I cut the recipe back to two servings and thought I could have used more ground pecans, the second breast was sparcely covered. Th flavor was good thoug, I'll have to use more pecans next time.

Cranberry Pumpkin Muffins

YUM!!! Made exactly as written using fresh cranberies, they turned out wonderful. I did only get 20, but I also filled mine a bit more full than 3/4 full. I'll be making these again soon.

Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits

Cut the recipe back to just 2 servings, but made exactly as written, thought they were great. Couldn't believe hw much flavor such a tiny bit of cayenne pepper give them. I was probably a littl e heavy on the cheddar cheese, but I love cheese!!

Cheese Souffles

Really liked this! I've always been intimidated by souffles, this was my first one to try and it turned out perfect!! I followed directions exactly using swiss cheese however, I only made a 1/2 batch and didn't have 10oz ramekins, only 6oz so I made three small ones. Hubby and I enjoyed and will be making these again maybe trying cheddar cheese next time.

Flaky Crescent Mushroom Turnovers

Great flavor and quick and easy. I didn't have fresh parsley so I used dried, but I did everything else as written maybe using a bit more mushrooms just because I finished up what was left. Very good. I grated my parmesan cheese fresh on the mushrooms before I sealed them. Very good.

Mushroom Pork Chops

This was not bad, I added extra mushrooms just because I love them and I wanted to use them up. I only had boneless pork chops and think they cooked too long, bone-in would probably work better. I think this could use a little more flavor, garlic possibly.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

These were very simple. I've always wanted to try these, especially since I have friends that need to eat gluten-free. They turned out great, except I had to bake mine A LOT longer than 8 minutes...more like three times that much at about 21 or 22 minutes. That's why I gave this only 4 stars.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Made this exactly as described minus 1/4 cup of the sugar. I was a little leary about combining all the ingredients in the food processor, but it woroked out perfectly fine...except when I was trying to scrape and scoop out the dough. The flavor is great, but like other reviewers I could have used a little more coffee flavor. And to my surprise I got exactly 18 muffins...I almost never get the exact serving the recipe states. I did use an ice-cream style scoop to drop my batter.

Grandma's Popovers

This was a great popover that doesn't add butter to the batter. I used an actual popover pan and cut the recipe to 1/3 since I was the only one eating them and I got two popovers instead of three smaller ones that would have resulted from a muffin pan. If you would use a popover pan with the normal amount it would most likely yield 6 popovers. They were yummy and I can't wait to make them for my hubby and add some flavorings to them...maybe some bay seasoning, dill or grated parmesan.
