Grilled Zucchini II

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
I cooked this in olive oil. I also added uncooked, chopped turkey bacon and cooked until done. Very good! Great way to use up some of those zucchinis.

This was great! I added onions while cooking the zucchini. I also sprinkled on parmesean cheese after toasting the grinder.

Beth's Scalloped Cabbage

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
This was very good! It was a little watery so I think I will let the cabbage sit in a colander so that it will drain better. I also used Velveeta cheese and I did not add any salt. The cheese made it plenty salty. Thanks for the great recipe!

Zippy Turkey Tortilla Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
This recipe turned out great! It tasted a lot like an appetizer that we get at Applebee's. I substitued part of the salsa for Ro-Tel tomatoes with green chilies. I also omitted the chicken broth. And I added a little Mexican cheese and crunchy tortilla chips to the top. Thanks for the great recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
Very good! I served it over brown rice. I had to use a little bit of mashed potato flakes to thicken the sauce, but that is probably just my preference. Thanks!

Easy, Cheesy Zucchini Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
This was very good. I ended up using cream of chicken soup instead of spaghetti sauce and omitted the corn. I thought that I had a jar of spaghetti sauce when I started cooking, but I didnt. I also sliced the zucchini and cooked it with the turkey because of other issues with it not being tender. I also added garlic and bread crumbs to the zucchini/turkey mixture.

I used Splenda instead of sugar and added extra blueberries. My kids really liked it. It wasnt overly sweet, but I expected that from previous reviews.

Dishpan Cookies II

I used about 1/4 cup less flour and added 1 extra egg because of some of the previous posts. I also used multi-grain flakes (didnt have corn flakes). These turned out delicious!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
These were great! I will definately be making these again. The topping was especially good. Mine bubbled over the muffin pan so be sure and put aluminum foil or something under the pan. I set off the fire alarm a couple of times :)

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This was very good. I added a little minced garlic (not the dry kind...the kind in the jar that is in a liquid). I added this because of the earlier reviews saying it needed something. This smelled really good cooking. The kids kept leaning over the rail wanting to know what I was making. I will definately make this again. THANKS.

Aunt Gail's Oatmeal Lace Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2006
These were great! They do spread really thin, so I didnt press down very hard with the sugared glass..just enough to get the sugar on. The dough itself was very tasty too!

Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2006
I used this in a breakfast casserole with cheese, eggs, etc. It was very good. I tried some of it before I used it in the casserole and I liked it better than the turkey sausage I have been buying at the store. And I like being able to lower the salt amounts for our family. I will be using this instead of buying the turkey sausage from now on.

I took this bread to a state fair (for Georgia) and it was a hit! Everybody wanted the recipe. It was very moist. I eliminated the nuts because of allergy precautions.

These were very good. I added some streudel to the top (brown sugar, flour, melted butter mixed together) and it seemed to add a little to it.
