Cornbread Stuffing Southern Style

Love loved this recipe. Made it for Thanksgiving and my mother in law is making it for Xmas. I left out the bell pepper and added about two cups pecans and doubled the recipe. Couldn't be better. Thanks!

Excellent! Everybody liked this recipe. I followed recipe and only had to use half of the phylo and half of the nuts. I was surprised to see such little cinnamon used so I added a tsp of cinnamon to the syrup while cooking. I would also use an additional tablespoon of nuts for each layer next time. But still wonderful tasting.
