As soon as I could stand, I was in the kitchen helping my mother cook for my two brothers and dad. Today, cooking is a relaxing and creative time for me, and I love to read recipes all the time looking for new things to try! I live in beautiful Santa Barbara, on the central california coast, and have access to some of the freshest and best vegetables and fish available. Being a vegetarrian, this is a great plus! I work as a philanthropist, working with local charities, and practice yoga everyday. I am really loving all the regional recipes from people throughout the US!
My favorite things to cook
Love mediterranean foods -- grape leaves, spanakiopita, stuffed veggies, rice pilaf. Soups are also a specialty, as are my famous veggie fritattas. Of course all kinds of Pastas.
