BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

This is a great recipe. I used just regular bacon and found that I needed more. The pasta over powered the bacon. It was still really good though. I also highly recommend using the wine. It comes out really dry without it. And serving it right away is also a must. My dried out before the husband got home. I served it with garlic bread and it was a BIG hit.

Banana Banana Bread

Really wasn't that impressed with this recipe. I think it came out kind bland. I've used better recipes in the past. My advice would be to use very ripe bananas, add more sugar and all-spice if you have it.

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

Absolutely loved this recipe!! Truly deserving of the 5 stars. I used almonds because I didn't have pecans or walnuts and it still turned out great. I also didn't have the curry spice. So I subsituted with an all-spice, garlic powder and extra salt/pepper. It still turned out great and with the curry spice I bet it'd be even better. I highly recommend this recipe to everyone.

Butter Frosting

Overall this is a good recipe. However, it is really sweet and I'm even a sweet tooth. I'd use a lot less sugar and add more butter. It was easy and fast to make though. And looked great on my chocolate cupcakes.

Ultimate Breakfast Casserole

For this one you really do need to mix the ingredients in a separate large bowl first (including the eggs) then pour it in. Also I listened to others and did more eggs, and less sour cream. The result wasn't great. I'd still do more eggs and the same amount of sour cream as suggested. Also make sure you cut the onions up small. Overall this was just okay, I didn't love it and it took a long time to make/bake.

Quick Peanut Butter Cookies

I really liked these. I did make some changes to them after reading other reviews. I did 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 brown sugar and a 1/2 cup peanut butter. I also used the Adams natural crunchy peanut butter and they turned out wonderful. Not too peanut buttery. Just right. I would double the recipe too my didn't make many.

Chicken Parmigiana

This is a wonderful and easy recipe. I made it for dinner tonight and my husband loved it. I used plain dry bread crumbs which were okay, I think next time I'll use a parmigian flavored one. I also added a pinch of garlic salt and pepper. It gave the chicken a nice flavor. Overall I'd give this a 5 and will be making it again.

Beef Stroganoff II

I've had beef stroganoff many times in my life and none have ever been like this. This is way to thick. I even followed others advice and added beef broth and water. It didn't help at all! I also only did 1 cup of flour and it still was super heavy. I also marinated the beef and even with that I thought it was weak in the flavor department. I wouldn't recommend this recipe to anyone.

Easy Sugar Cookies

These taste great but don't come out looking very pretty. My trees look like giant blobs and my ginger bread men have no visible limbs. They get really big in the oven. Even after refrig. for a while they still did it. If you just want a good tasting sugar cookie then they are fine. But if you are going for visual appeal I wouldn't make them.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

These cookies are awesome! Very easy to make and don't require many ingredients. I made them for Christmas and liked them so much I'm going to make them year round! I used Red Raspberry jam and they are delicious. I give these 5+ stars!

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

I love this recipe. I make it all the time. I use a bottle of honey bbq and it gives it a nice extra kick. I also serve it over brown rice. It's a big crowd pleaser. My husband loves it.

No Bake Cookies III

I've tired many versions of this recipe but this is by far the best. If you allows the mixture to really come to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute they come out right everytime. I've also used crunchy peanut when I was out of creamy and they still tasted great. I love this recipe.

Snickerdoodles V

I tired a few other snickerdoodle recipes before finding this one. And none of them came close to how great this one is! I used margarine instead of shortening and they still turned out awesome. They are soft in and fluffy yet still true to a classic snickerdoodle. My husband raved about them for days.

Awesome Roast Beef

I make this all the time and we love it! It is easy, inexpensive and tastes great. My picky eater husband loves it too. I throw carrots and onions in with it and then serve it over mashed potatos. It's a crowd pleaser everytime.

Walnut Apple Dessert

This is one of the easiest and best tasting desserts I've ever made! I've become famous for it. Everyone always wants me to make it. I love it too because it's easy, inexpensive and looks/tastes impressive. Also you can varry it a little and it still turns out great. I usually cut the recipe in half and use whatever apples I have on hand. It's also great with whip cream.
