Sauteed Mushrooms in Garlic

I made the mushroom dish tonight and served it on top of penne pasta made with veggies. Instead of butter, I used truffle oil and instead of wine (because I didn't have any), I used chicken stock. It was delish! I will make this again.

Texas German Potato Salad

Love this recipe! I make it for parties, BBQ's, a side dish to bring to the neighbors house...you name it. People always ask me for the recipe. I'm starting to feel a little protective of it...like a hidden jewel. Sometimes I forget to reserve the bacon grease. Sometimes I add an extra boiled egg. Makes no difference. I've never liked potato salad but this one I can just sit with a bowl and a spoon. Yum!

Easter Leftovers Casserole

I made this last year with the ham leftovers. It was soooo good. Especially on a cold day. I added broccoli to it and my family loved...come to think of it I probably added extra cheese too.
