Montreal Peppered Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2006
I followed the recipe exactly, except I used just a tad less soy sauce than it call for. I marinated 2lbs of Ribeyes for about 4 hours and then grilled them and my family all raved about them! This will be a recipe we use over and over. By far the best steaks we have ever made!!

Grandma's Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2006
I'm not known for being the best cook in our family - that title belongs to my sister, but even she asked for this recipe because it was delicious and so easy! The first time I made them I took some over to our neighbors because I had to share them with someone! I follow the recipe exactly and have gotten rave reviews every time. I've made them three times and have the ingredients on hand to make them again! Wonderful!

Pasta Pomodoro

My family loved this! I made it as a side dish, but it could easily be a main course! I''ll add grilled chicken the next time and serve it as an entree.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
I have made this three times and every time it is perfect! I used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. I used a pork roast because my store didn't have any boneless ribs. Putting it in the oven tops it off! Delicious and extremely easy! This recipe is a keeper!!

Spicy Black Bean Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2006
This is wonderful! I had to change things a little because of what I had on hand. I didn't use the cajun seasoning or the bell pepper. I used yellow mustard and 1/2 a vidalia onion. I also used jalapenos from a jar. It's delicious! I love the addition of the black beans and the spice from the jalapenos is unusual and delicious! Thanks for the recipe - I'll use it over and over!

I made this exactly as written, except I used a little extra sauce. It was delicious! It reminds me a lot of lasagna, but even better! My family loved it and it will be a regular in our rotation!

Followed recipe exactly, except used chicken broth instead of beer. Threw all ingredients in crockpot at 10pm, cooked on low all night and served at an 11:00 am luncheon. Everyone loved it! Served with cheese, sour cream and purchased tortilla chips (crushed). Will definitley serve again!

Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
Fabulous! I followed the recipe exactly for the pico de gallo and it was delicious!! As far as the chicken is concerned, I just boiled mine in a little water and then shredded it. I don't care for bell peppers, so I skipped the step where you saute the onion and peppers. I used 4 frozen chicken breast halves and when they were cooked, shredded them and added them to all the pico. I ended up making 4 quesadillas that way. Of course, I didn't have any pico left to dip in, but they were so delicious, you didn't need to do any thing except eat them! Everyone in my family loved these and my husband said they are the best he's ever had anywhere! These will be a regular in our family!

Chicken Fiesta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
This was fabulous! I made it for a teacher luncheon at my daughter's school and it went over very well. I made extra chicken and saved it for dinner to add to the other ingredients. My husband and 12 year old daughter both asked for it to be a regular meal of ours. I just served it with some warm bread and it was a tasty, light, delicious meal. We love it!!
