Broccoli Salad I
YUMMY! This is an excellent recipe and very easy to make. I use red onion instead of green onion. I have also substituted "Real Bacon Pieces" (by Hormel) in place of freshly cooked bacon. Less mess and still tasty.

Teriyaki Sauce
I do not even buy the bottled teriyaki sauce anymore! This is easy to make and I have substituted the sherry cooking wine with rice vineger in a pinch. I have also used powdered garlic in place of fresh, and it is fine. I also add finely sliced green onion tops. It came out wonderful and earned approval from picky friends. We used it for a dipping sauce for pot stickers.

Whole Wheat Beer Bread
I made this bread twice this week! The first loaf made it out of the oven and was gone in less than an hour. Had to make another loaf the next day. I melted half a stick of butter and poured it on top, then sprinkled a tablespoon of sugar over the melted butter before baking. Extra crunch on the top! YUM Tasted like the manufactured mixes from the store, but better for you without the additives and preservatives.
