Pasta Lamb Skillet
About this Cook
I'm a veterinary technician, and I love to cook! My husband is a trombonist with the US Navy Band, DC, and we've been married for 10 years. I love animals, and we have 2 cats and a dog.
My favorite things to cook
I grew up in an Italian family, so anything Italian is my absolute favorite. I really love cooking just about anything, and I've come to adore this website that holds everyone's family secrets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The Italian Christmas feast! Fish, fish, fish with home made pasta on Christmas Eve and then Wedding Soup for Christmas Day.
My cooking triumphs
My best cooking triumphs have all come from All Recipies! Nothing makes me happier than preparing a wonderful and enjoyable meal for my husband, so I'll actually give the credit to all those who have submitted their favorite recpies to this great site.
My cooking tragedies
LOL! The truth is that I can't cook anything from a box. I guess I get into the swing of things, and I don't read or follow the directions very well! Perhaps that means I'm finally a true cook! I can follow and adapt any actual recpie to our personal liking, but I'm notorious for *forgetting* to read the water additive instructions on any boxed item!

Zucchini with Dill Weed and Garlic-Yogurt Sauce
I thought it would be better with double the rice and half the yogurt. Hubby didn't like it much at all, so I probably won't try again.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup
This is the best recipe for the soup that I've tried. Note that it will filly you up but won't keep you full for long. I usually add cooked rice to it to keep me full.

Basic Baked Spaghetti
Great recipe! I usually cook with Italian sausage, onions and mushrooms.
