Dash's Donair

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
this was so good. it was very simular to the one in edmonton on 149th street. the sauce was a little runny for me. we typically add bbq sauce to it, onions, tomato and letuce. i like black olives on mine. yum. didnt realize that donair was so easy to make!! thanks a lot for this recipe!

so i took a few of the suggestions and added apple, cinnimon, pepper, i also added cumin so it would tie in well with my greekish burger that i made for a for a boy. which was great, bc the other side dish was such a terrible tragedy! lol .. which sucked cause it was the first time cookin for him lol :P but over all, this is a pretty good recipe, just didnt put in rasins cause i forgot to get them at the store :-D

Chocolate-Zucchini Cupcakes

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
okay, for the record i love zuccini, and i love chocolate! if u have kids this is such a great way for them to be snuck veggies, heck, toss some carrot into the mix as well :D lol ... the zuc makes it sooo moist and delicious. ive loved this kind of cake/cupcake since like for ever. i didnt put walnuts as the texture bothers me, so i put in almonds, and it was just as well. i made 1/2 for a girl who doesnt like chocolate and added the extra chocolate to the second cake pan. great decision! lol i had to steal a slice. i wasnt sposed to have ne until wednesday lol, but thats alright. mmm

Greeked Zucchini

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2007
this was pretty good.. however.. i think if i were to marinate the veggies before hand it would have taken it to a whole other level ..lol.. i look forward to making this dish again.. but i have to get olives! i love greek food, and this was so simple to make! and its fairly healthy.. i used a very light dressing instead of a regular.. but overal it was pretty good! but it was missing a lil something.. not sure what.. but something lol maybe the olives lol.. will definately make this for my sister when she comes next time!

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
I thought these cookies were OK .. so then with the second batch i jazzed them up and i rolled them into balls and then rolled them into a LITTLE bit of coconut with cinimon, and pressed down on them in the middle and refridgerated for a while so when i baked them they maintained their shape :) - they were AWESOME then :)
