Janet's Rich Banana Bread

***** Had to give this recipe another 5 stars of my own. Only changes I made was puree the bananas and adding pecans. Super moist, to die for recipe. Will be making this my #1 recipe.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I made this recipe on yesterday and it was absolutely WONDERFUL, moist, and easy to make. I did increase the amount of ginger and nutmeg and I used larger loaf pans so I only got 2 loaves. Will definitely make again. Total winner!

Beefy Taco Dip

Very good dip. I added onion and bell pepper to my beef while cooking used Salsa Verde and green chilies, omitted the sour cream and spread over heated refried black beans topped with shredded cheese and baked til golden brown. Very very tastey, got rave reviews from my classmates

Basic Cheesecake

Well Ladies and Gents, I made this recipe a few hours ago and I did a couple things to test a few ideas. I made my cheesecake with a ginger snap cookie crust, I increased the amount of filling made to test two different cooking methods. I used the turkey bag and water bath for my 10 inch and foil around the pan and no bath for the 8 inch. The 8 did experience cracking but the 10 didn't. I cooked both in a regular gas oven racks adjusted accordingly at 300 degrees, I also let the 10 cook for 90 min and the 8 for 60 min. Both cooled in the oven for 1 hour heat off door open. I will now put in the freezer for a couple hours for remainder of cooling time. I'm sure the flavor is superb, but the methods for cooking have given good insight. Best Carrot Cake Ever

Tried the recipe today and it came out okay. I read 2-3 pages of the reviews and tried some of the variations that were made and I have to say, 1.use all of the 1C of oil, drain the pineapple but not completely,do reduce the white sugar and add nutmeg. I'll have to make this one again trying some different variations, but for the most part cake was good.

Chewy Pecan Bars

I have been looking for a recipe to replce the one that my mom made when I was a child and this one is very very close. My boyfriend raved about them and asked "are these from scratch", can you make some more, LOTS of compliments at work.
