I thought it might be fun to incorporate sausage gravy and biscuits all into one handheld package. Using precooked Country Style Chicken Sausage by Alfresco, it became a cinch.

1/2 cup self rising flour
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
3 tbsp. light alfredo sauce
2 Alfresco Country Style Chicken breakfast sausages, chopped small

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Mix dry ingredients well. Stir in applesauce and alfredo.Fold sausage in until completely incorporated. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheat or silpat silicone mat (you should get 5 to 6 medium sized biscuits. Cook for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Sorry I can't find any other way to contact you -- you mentioned a "flax egg" in your doggie biscuit review. What is a "flax egg?" could you add another review to the doggie biscuit and tell us what a flax egg is and how to use it? thanks

About Me
I married my high school sweetheart and we have a beautiful daughter. I work from home as an executive assistant to my stepfather. I love shopping, reading, writing (I am the recently appointed West Palm Beach Cheap Eats Examiner-, and of course cooking and baking!
My favorite things to cook
Any italian food, mexican or tex-mex food, quick and easy recipes, and I also love to attempt gourmet and interesting dishes- but I have to be careful because I have a picky eater to feed (my husband!). I love putting my personal twist on old favorites- adding things, taking things out...and I'm always creating a new cream sauce. I have a weakness for cream sauce!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have always loved how my mother and I come together to prepare meals for holidays and parties. I also have always loved how my grandmother always made the same things every holiday (i.e. stuffed shells and easter bread for easter, lasagna for christmas...etc.).
My cooking triumphs
My taco bake, my homemade mac and cheese, my alfredo sauce, and my turkey meat loaf! YUMMY.
My cooking tragedies
Italian honey balls! I should have had my grandmother show me how to make these before moving from NJ! I burned most of them (oil was too hot) and they ended up tasting like doughnuts. I also melted a plastic spoon and stunk up the apartment in the process!
