Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2011
Delicious! All I changed was to add just a dash of cinnamon and vanilla.

Light Wheat Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
I did the kneading in my kitchen aid and just rolled the dough into balls to make regular rolls. Also, cut down on the baking time a bit. Delish!

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
I didn't grind the oatmeal, doubled the recipe, used olive oil, and baked in a loaf pan at 350 for 45 minutes. It was quite delicious with butter or honey.

A cake-like cornbread, if that's what you're looking for. Very tasty!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I also substitued some brown sugar for a portion of the white. And I think adding some extra zucchini would be great as well. Everyone enjoyed it!

Great! I used mostly wheat but a little white flour, and added a little cinnamon and vanilla. I'll definitely make them again!

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I used 2 1/4 cups water and 7 cups flour and it worked out great. I added 1 tsp vanilla to the dough. Also I used 4 tbsp white sugar and 4 tbsp brown sugar with the 3 tbsp cinnamon for the filling. Also used the cream cheese frosting recipe that has been posted. Everyone LOVED them - no need to try another cinnamon roll recipe EVER!

Texas Sheet Cake V

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
This was just what I was looking for. I didn't have a large baking sheet so I just used a 9x13 and increased the baking time a bit. Turned out thick, of course, but great!

Weekend Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2007
This was a hit at my breakfast gathering this morning. The only thing I did different from the recipe was add some finely chopped onion to the sausage, as well as some seasoned salt.

Mimi's Giant Whole-Wheat Banana-Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
I wasn't a huge fan of these... the banana flavor just didn't turn out quite right. My husband really liked them though!

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Reviewed: May 12, 2006
Not too much work, smells and tastes delicious! I added some finely chopped very-ripe strawberries to the jam mixture. They did turn out pretty gooey and messy- but once COMPLETELY cooled (I put mine in the refridgerator) they were easier to handle. Also would be yummy hot out of the oven with vanilla ice cream!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
I'll be making this again! I used lemon juice instead of the vinegar and used 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. There was extra sauce for a veggie stir fry. I also baked for slightly less time.

Fantastic Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
This was fabulous! I don't like the beans in regular chili. Both my husband and I loved this! I used extra tomatoes (1 can diced and 1 can italian seasoned stewed tomatoes, cut up), reduced to 2 cans black beans, added one can corn, reduced basil and oregano to 1 tsp each, omitted the vinegar, added extra chili seasoning and salt and pepper. Will make again and again!
