This was a surprising hit and a very robust flavor.

YUM! I love peppers and bacon. To combine them both like this was a true taste sensation. I will make these again and soon!

Very Very good. I couldn't imagine it made with polenta, but it really added a unique texture and taste.

Green Beans With a Twist

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
Very yummy, I made a double batch of beans and a single recipe of the dressing. The lemon juice adds a nice tang, but don't use more than the recipe calls for. Will make this one a part of my summer recipe collection.

Chinese Restaurant Almond Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2007
very good. I liked the taste and the texture. I went with the lard for one batch and a combo of butter (unsalted) and lard for the second batch. I liked them both, but the butter and lard combo was just a little better in my opinion.

Honey Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
Brava! This is a wonderful recipe. I've made it twice and I liked it both times, a little better the second time when I increased the carrots to 3 cups and the pecans to 1 1/2 cups. It was moister and very dense. If you don't like a dense cake, leave the amounts the same as the original recipe. The moisture was there both times I made it. The cream cheese frosting is to die for and to decorate the cake, I crushed a Nonni's Gingerbread Macadamia nut biscotti and sprinkled it on top. It is a limited time release biscotti that I bought at Sam's Club and had on hand available for this Fall time of year. It added a nice pretty golden dusting to the top of the cake and although the flavor came through a little, it didn't overpower the flavor of the cake. Top Notch recipe!

Rico's Passionate Pink Honey Lemonade

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2006
POW! Great recipe! Everyone at my office loved it. The best was when I put a cup of the Pink Honey Lemonade in a blender with Ice and added to it about 3 oz. of Coconut Cream Rum and hit the blend button. Creamy, frothy, and yummy! Everyone who tasted it said it tasted like a cream-cicle! Very refreshing.

Spinach Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2006
This was very good, Creamy and it had a lot of flavor. I used cream of mushroom soup, since I didn't have the cream of chicken on hand. I also added about a cup of cooked lentles left over from dinner the night before. It gave the rice a nice richness with the spinach. Even my husband liked it and he doesn't care for spinach much at all.

Bill's Beefuna Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2006
Who would have ever thought that Tuna and Beef would make such an outstanding combination. Not over-powering at all and holds it's flavor well when topped with Tomato, Lettuce, onion & cheese. Now, I will have a very tasty treat while camping instead of the same old burgers. YUM!

Mardi Gras King Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2006
I have used this recipe now for 2 years, and it is wonderful. One of the girls I work with was raised in New Orleans and said that this recipe is the best she has ever had. She even asked me to make it for her this year to take to her families Mardi Gras party and they all agreed it was the best. They said it is less dry than the ones they commenly see in New Orleans and had more filling.

Pear Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
I have made this pie so much by request of friends and family that I know it by heart! It has been a taste sensation where ever I take it. The flavor is delicate at first, with a slight tang and everyone thinks it's apple at first until they take a second or third bite, then they arn't sure. Sooner or later they are guessing everything under the sun except pears. Then they want the recipe.
