Anything with lot's of vegetables. I like desserts that incorporate fruit, or cinnamon, or both!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
They come out perfect every time! I bake them for 10 minutes and thus they are soft and chewy. I leave out the raisins since my boyfriend doesn't like them. Don't be too stingy with the spices though: a little extra cinnamon or cloves never hurts the flavor.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This recipe was delicious. The apples were a little bit runny but thats proabbly because we didn't give the pie very long to cool. I precooked the apples for a few minutes on the stove with some water to assure softness. Also, instead of a lattice top, I used a crumble. It worked well so no worries if you don't have enough dough to do the lattice.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
I love this recipe and I've been using it for years! Of course I've adapted it to make it my own over the years as well... I use 1 cup of butter instead of shortening. Sometime I mix it up and use salted butter sometimes for tinge of extra saltiness. I also mix in a few tablespoons of cinnamon into the dry ingredients, mostly because I love cinnamon. I also often use whole wheat flour instead of all purpose.
