Brownies V

I didn't have any special liqueurs on hand, so I used seedless jam instead! I also used milk chocolate chips instead of semisweet chips. These were delicious, and what I liked most of all is that they are easy to cut and travel well. Some brownies are practically destroyed by the time you cut them into squares, but not these! Yum!

Baked Potato Soup

This was quite a family pleaser. I used 8 potatoes and left the skins on when I cubed them. I also used milk instead of half and half, and I used 1/3 c. white Mexican mild cheese dip instead of hot pepper sauce. I added chives, and I used bacon bits from a jar instead of bacon strips. Everyone loved it!

Dip For The Stars

This was very good, but a bit spicy for me. I halved the butter and cut down a little on the feta and garlic. I added a few tablespoons caesar dressing at the end because it seemed a little too thick. (I made my own pesto because it isn't available in rural areas.) It would be great for a special event.

Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies II

These were interesting and had all of the yummy ingredients, but they're not what I really think of as 'brownie'. They're OK; I may or may not make them again.

Pig Picking Cake III

Very good cake. I had so much filling and topping that I used a little and froze the rest. I added coconut and a tiny bit of rum extract and orange extract, too.

Kentucky Biscuits

These were a wonderful hit with the family. I will probably make a triple recipe for family gatherings, instead of making the usual biscuits or rolls, because these are so different and tasty.

Yum Yum Cake II
