We do not like limp bacon, so we won't be making these again.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

This was a huge hit. Everyone said it was the best sweet potato casserole ever! The only thing I did different was added some cinnamon.

Excellent! Added fresh garlic, basil, oregano and rosemary from my garden to the dough. This is the best dough for grilling pizza!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2012
Even my husband, who has never been too impressed with pot pies, love this one! I omitted the celery and added corn and potatoes. I use the pillsbury pie crust sheets, which are flaky and delicious. Prep time is longer than 20 minutes, but definitely worth it!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2012
This is SO GOOD! Takes a long time to make but definitely worth it. I used fresh basil and omitted the fennel, and it was amazing. It really is the "World's Best" lasagna!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
Did not like this at all. Way to spicy (could be the wing sauce) and we love spicy food. Too mushy for chjcken.

Lemonade-Mint Iced Tea

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
Very refreshing. I brewed regular tea, rather than using instant. I also used about half as much sugar and lots of whole mint leaves. Turned out great!

Slow Cooker Spicy Black-Eyed Peas

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
If you make this, DEFINITELY soak your peas. I cooked it for 8 hours and the peas were still not soft. The flavor was ok, nothing special. Canned black eyed peas with jalapenos are just as good. Not impressed with this one - I won't be making it again.

Banana Crumb Muffins

This is the BEST muffin recipe ever and it is so easy. The only modification I made was adding cinnamon to the batter. I will definitely be making these for Christmas breakfast!

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
This is the best pumpkin seed recipe ever! I was reading the reviews to my non-pumpkin seed eating husband and he was laughing about how every recipe says "I converted my husband and now he loves this recipe." Well, he now is a believer! He was sneaking these seeds all night!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

These are the best peanut butter cookies! My 4 year old loved helping me make criss-crosses on the cookies. We also sprinkled a little sugar on top before baking. Yummy!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2007
This is a weekly staple at my house. Since only my husband and I eat this (it's too spicy for my 4 year old), I only buy a 1 pound roast (and it's usually an arm roast because we are picky about fat). I do not use the garlic, but I do add a package of McCormick AuJus and 1 cup of water one hour before serving. Also, before adding the mixture, remove roast from crockpot, shred and then put it back in. I cook it on high for 3 hours and low for about 6 hours. I love it and I'm not a big roast eater. It is always so tender, no knife needed!

Make Ahead French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2007
I love this french toast! The pecan topping is the best. I add a little butavon, only because I have it, to the egg mixture. It would taste just as well without it though. It will take 2 9x13 pans, if you make the recipe as stated.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2007
This is the BEST salad. Everytime we have a family gathering, my family requests this salad. Even my husband, who does not eat spinach, loves it! I usually make the salad, make the dressing and take them in separate bowls. Right before we eat, I add the dressing to the salad. It does get soggy, so it's not something that works for leftovers (but there are usually not any so it doesn't matter!).
