Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
Made this for dinner last night and was WOWED. Couple of minor changes: brushed olive oil herb mixture on chicken and did not baste (no need). Added chopped Yukon Gold potatoes to pan for roasted potatoes (shook potatoes in plastic bag of 1.5 tbs olive oil and herbs de provence) set oven at 425 for 50 mins and then upped to 450 for 10 mins so that the potatoes were crunchy brown and the chicken perfectly browned. Family raved!

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
Terrific! Only changes I made was to marinade in lemon juice and double the sauce. Even our uber picky 10 y/o ate it all up. Served it with angel hair pasta mixed with just bit of tarragon and grape seed oil as well as a simple baby leaf spinach salad. Hubby said it tasted even better the next day as left overs.

Classic Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
This is an excellent base (meaning you can let loose with your imaginiation, try using risotto with different cheeses!) Mac and Cheese recipe - Truly an old fashioned recipe and the ONLY thing the prevents me from giving it 5 stars is I knew better than to cook it at more than 350 degrees. I used a mixture of American and Brie cheeses and soda crackers, adjusted the recipe for to serve 4 (and still had enough to serve 6!) and my family was beside themselves. FINALLY, a true 'classic' mac and cheese recipe on allrecipes....BRAVO.

Baked Ziti I

Excellent. Wouldn't change a thing except to add some fresh chopped garlic to be fried with the onions. Picky daughter had 3 helpings!

Puttanesca or Kalamata Kwik Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
Best Puttanesca I've ever had. I added a few more Kalamata olives and capers as well as used jarred hot crushed red peppers (1.5 tbs) with seeds. Definitely a keeper.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
As far as my family is concerned this is a slice of heaven. I followed advise of others and used 2 eggs, no baking powder and added chocolate chips. I also bake them for about 8 minutes less as we like ours a bit less done.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
This is devine! I realized while I was eating it that I could add more sour cream and this would make a terrific salad dressing.
