Originally from Florida, used to using tropical ingredients and cooking southern style and with a lifelong appreciation for excellent iced tea. Now in Oregon, loving life, getting used to having four real seasons, and learning to use local fresh ingredients as they come into season here in the Pacific North West.

I love using fresh ingredients as much as possible, they always make a difference in the final taste of the dish.
I love the fresh and smoked salmon, Dungeness crab and chanterelle mushrooms we get here. World-famous cheeses, wines and chocolates are made here locally and add amazingly to the variety of dishes we can prepare from our surrounding providers.
