It was great even though I left out the peas and jalapenos...and I just used regular pepper.

Definitely one of my favorite garlic bread recipes! I stuck the cream cheese mixture in the frig. for a little while. It mixed a lot easier!

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
Good but very sweet and I love sweet things. I would make again but cut the sugar at least in half...I never thought I would say that!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Pretty good but VERY oily! Definitely will half the butter next time, and half olive oil as others suggested. I doubled the seasoning as suggested and I'm glad I did. I saved some of the cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
I did as others suggested: I put the oil ON the cookie sheet and just dipped the potatoes in the spice mixture. I cooked half exactly as directed and the other half I added cumin. I thought the ones with cumin were slightly better. I also added salt.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
I didn't think it needed that much sugar, so I cut it in half and I think I'll put even less next time. It also depends on what kind of apples you use too. I used Gala apples.

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2012
Everyone raved about this recipe. I turned it into a cake to save time. I didn't have crystallized ginger so I just sprinkled sugar on grated ginger. I also didn't have butterscotch pudding so I used vanilla. It was still amazing! Most of the guests said it didn't even need icing.

Easy Indian Style Okra

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
I really ejoyed this! I put in the spices before my okra. Next time I will do the opposite because a lot of the flavor ended up on my onions-which were amazing! If you cut the okra it will be slimy, but I left mine whole and didn't have a problem. Its prettier this way too. Try not to stir it too much that will help and at the end turn up the heat to sear it. I would add more onions, since I liked eating them with the okra so much. *The second time I made this I didn't have any ginger or coriander so I add cinnamon, cilantro, parsley and lemon juice instead - it was pretty amazing!

Eggplant and Mushrooms with Wild Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
Great recipe! I did think it needed a little more salt and garlic. I also soaked the eggplant in salt and water (in the frig) for about 45 minutes as suggested. It worked great! The eggplant did not fall apart.

This was great! I didn't have any nutmeg so I used an extra tablespoon of cinnamon. I also left out the cocoa and added 1c of pecans. Loved it!
