Rich Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
Thick and rich. I would definitely half the recipe next time. I had a lot left over so I saved it for a few days and made another cake. I think it was better the second time!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2011
The 5 stars is for the raspberry sauce. Definitely double the sauce! I only had raspberry jam with seeds and I was worried it would be gritted, but it was still great. I guess boiling the sauce softens the seeds enough so you chewing on them.

Pork Chops with Delicious Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
SO GOOD! The gravy is amazing! I do agree with others that you should at least double the gravy if you are wanting to us it for your potatoes. I am not a huge fan of pork chops and I absolutely loved this recipe. I didn't change a thing. I made quite a bit of chops and ran out of butter so I used olive oil instead and it was great. I am going to try someones suggestion and add mushrooms next time, even though it was amazing without.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Pretty good but VERY oily! Definitely will half the butter next time, and half olive oil as others suggested. I doubled the seasoning as suggested and I'm glad I did. I saved some of the cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
I did as others suggested: I put the oil ON the cookie sheet and just dipped the potatoes in the spice mixture. I cooked half exactly as directed and the other half I added cumin. I thought the ones with cumin were slightly better. I also added salt.

Blueberry Oat Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Pretty good but I've had much better. I would probably add a little more butter next time because I thought it was a little dry.

Very good. As others suggested, I added more seasoning, except for rosemary, sauted onions with the potatoes and added more spinach. Will make again!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
I used brown sugar instead of white. Like suggested I spread butter on top before baking to keep it moist. Other reviewers said to mash the bananas, otherwise the bread would be mushy. So I only chopped 1/2 of one banana and it was amazing! I don't like my banana bread to have a lot of banana taste, so this recipe was perfect for me. If you do, add more bananas. I didn't have sour cream so I added a little more butter and mild, it was still really good!

Very good! I also only used 2 cans of condensed milk, as suggested. I left out the lime zest...too lazy:) I made my own crust: 1/4 c sugar, 1 1/4 c graham crackers and 6 Tbs butter. Yum!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
Very good for such an easy recipe! As suggested I pound the chicken breasts and then seasoned them with garlic powder, salt and pepper before breading them. I also use olive oil instead of vegetable.

Eggplant and Mushrooms with Wild Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
Great recipe! I did think it needed a little more salt and garlic. I also soaked the eggplant in salt and water (in the frig) for about 45 minutes as suggested. It worked great! The eggplant did not fall apart.

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
I used parmesan for half of the recipe and feta for the other. Loved them both. If you use parmesan you do need the salt but when using feta cut back on it. DONT salt your rice! That makes it way too salty.
