Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This was good, but nothing special. I do not think the root beer added anything. All I could taste is the barbq sauce on the pork. Could hardly taste the pork at all. I used Sweet Baby Rays. The sauce should be diluted some. Maybe add a half bottle along with the root beer when cooking it. I am an expert cooking teacher and have taught cooking for 20 years

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Excellent recipe. For me 8 peaches equaled 6 cups of peeled cut up peaches. Came out perfect. Thanks for the recipe.

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

THIS IS AN EXELLENT AND EASY RECIPE. HUBS LOVED IT AND IT COULD BE SERVED TO COMPANY. THE ONLY THING I CHANGED WAS THE COOKING TIME. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERCOOK. I USED A THERMOMETER AND TOOK IT OUT AT 145 AND LET IT SIT FOR 5 MINUTES FOR PINK IN THE MIDDLE. THIS TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES ALLTOGETHER. IT ALSO DEPENDS HOW THICK YOUR TENDERLOIN IS. ENJOY !

Irish Soda Bread

THIS IS A GREAT RECIPE, BUT YOU NEED TO CUT THE AMOUNT OF RAISINS, OR IT COMES OUT LIKE RAISIN BREAD AND IS TOO SWEET. I USED 2 CUPS, BUT WILL USE 1 1/2 CUPS NEXT TIME. I ALSO CUT BACK SOME ON THE CARAWAY. OTHERWISE IT IS MOIST AND BEAUTIFUL. TRY IT !

THIS WAS AMAZING. MOIST AND VERY FLAVORFUL. MAKES A GREAT DINNER WITH FRESH FRUIT. THE ONLY THING I ADDED WAS 1 GARLIC CLOVE AND 1/2 TSP. SALT AND IT CAME OUT PERFECT. IT IS ALSO SO GOOD FOR YOU. TRY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Precious Pineapple Cake

THIS IS A GOOD, QUICK CAKE. I USED THE EXTRA EGG AND I THINK IT HELPED KEEP THE CAKE FROM CRUMBLING MUCH. I ONLY SPRINKLED TOASTED PECANS ON TOP OF FROSTING. I ONLY NEEDED 3 CUPS SUGAR FOR THE FROSTING. I ALSO BAKED IT IN A 13X9 GLASS BAKING DISH. USED BUTTER INSTEAD OF MARGARINE. I WILL MAKE THIS AGAIN.

Slow Cooker Apple Crisp

THIS IS GREAT WITH THESE 2 SMALL CHANGES. FIRST CUT YOUR APPLES INTO LARGE CHUNKS, AND USE GRANNY SMITH. AND 2ND, STIR 1 CUP QUICK COOKING OATS INTO THE CRUMB TOPPING. I COOKED MINE 2 HOURS ON HIGH, THEN PARTIALLY UNCOVERED THE COOKER AND COOKED ABOUT 1/2 HOUR LONGER TO CRISP UP.

THIS IS FABULOUS. I ADDED 1/2 CUP THOUSAND ISLE. DRESSING INSTEAD OF 1/4 CUP AND IT WAS PERFECT. ALSO - TRY THE RYE TRISCUITS. THEY ARE A MUST WITH THIS DIP. EVERYONE JUST LOVED IT.

Slow Cooker Tapioca Pudding

Great and easy recipe. Comes out just right. I added 1 tsp. vanilla at end of cooking and topped with whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg. Mine was done about 1 hr. early, so check it. It is very important to stir often, especially at the last part of cooking time. You will love this !!

Baked Zucchini Squares

THIS RECIPE WAS JUST OK. I CUT THE OIL TO 1/3 CUP PER SUGGESTIONS THAT THE DISH WAS TOO OILY, AND ADDED 1/2 CUP CHEDDAR CHEESE. IT CAME OUT A LITTLE THIN AND DRY. MAYBE MY BISQUICK WAS OLD ?? TOOK TO A PARTY, AND THERE WAS NOT MUCH INTEREST.

Stuffed Artichoke Hearts

First of all, the recipe should be called stuffed artichoke BOTTOMS as asked for in the ingredients. Big difference. I am an expert chef and this is a wonderful appetizer, with these changes. I put 1/4 cup of the Parmesan in the cream cheese mixture and added 1/4 tsp. garlic powder to the mixture and 1/2 tsp. Laurie's lemon pepper to the mixture also. So I did not need to sprinkle the artichokes with garlic or pepper. Also only dipped the bottoms of the artichokes in butter and that was plenty ! Also I baked at 350 for about 30 minutes. I got rave reviews at my dinner party. You must try this.

Tiramisu Cheesecake

This is a great recipe. But after reading reviews that mostly complained of bland filling, I made it perfect and really taste like tiramisu, I added to the filling: 5 T. Kahlua, 1 T. brandy, 1 T. rum and 1 t. instant expresso powder. I topped it with whipped cream and sprinkled a mixture of grated chocolate and unsweetened cocoa on top. I also doubled the Kahlua in the crust. Fabulous !

Easy Bake Fish

VERY GOOD. I REALLY LIKED THE SAUCE. I ADDED A LITTLE MORE LEMON JUICE. ALSO I THINK IF YOU COOK IT AT 325, YOU WILL NEED TO GIVE IT 25-30 MIN. TO BE SURE IT IS COOKED. I MIGHT DO IT AT 350 NEXT TIME.
