Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

I don't know how this recipe has such a good rating. As is it is really bad. You must reduce the pepper by at least half to make it edible , and I like pepper. I made the mistake of just going by the recipe and adding all that ppper without thinking. :( Adding, green onions, and a veggie or two is also needed. Wanted it to be great..it's not.

What a wonderful dinner I made last night. Thanks to this little dish. It was perfection. I made almost as written, usind unsalted butter and making sure to let my sauce stand before adding the noodles. It is easy and way yummy.

Easy and Delicious Chicken

I made this last night for the second time. I cooked the chicken just as written. After about 6 hours, I took the still hot chicken from the crock pot one at a time and shreded them with 2 forks as written in the recipe. They fall apart so easily, shredding chicken is not usually this quick. Then I mixed all the other ingredients in a pyrex bowl and zapped them in the microwave for a minute or two so I could stir them up really good. It really made a difference. I served this on top of noodles and I sauted some mushroom to put on top. Turned out great.

Last Minute Mushrooms

This is a great quickie mushroom recipe. I sometimes change it up and add a splash of sherry with some italian seaoning and a bit of minced garlic thrown in with the butter. They are wonderful

We added the diced tomatoes as suggested. Very hot and very wonderful.I will tone down the cayenne next time for my daughter. She asked why I made lava for dinner..Kids..

This turned out wonderful for us. my husband and daughter couldn't get enough. While I prepared the rset of the meal, i had my husband grill them on our George F. grill. It was so funny!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

This was spectacular. I ordered the Hawaiian sea salt on-line. I am so glad I waited for it. This was so good! I used a 7 lb butt. I cooked it for about 17 hours and it was totally falling apart so, until dinner I put my crock pot on warm and added a little more (1 TBS) liquid smoke,some pineapple juice and pineapple chunks. This was such a good recipe. My daughter requested it for Christmas dinner!!!

Fideo (Mexican Spaghetti)

This was so easy to make and delicious. A nice change from everyday spaghetti. The only change I made was using 2 cans of diced tomatoes with peppers instead of the Roma tomatoes, only because that is what I had on hand.The spices gave it such a unique flavor. We will definetly be making this again.Thanks.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

This is fantastic and easy tortilla soup! A friend of mine owns a Mexican restaurant and this is as good if not better than his (once you add some sour cream.)The only change I made was adding more chicken. I really like this recipe. yum!

Burrito Pie

I made this last night( I halfed the recipe) and there was more then enough for tonight. I used a thicker brand of totilla shell. It was very good. My 11 year old ate it both nights with a smile on her face. Almost a miracle. Thanks!
