Very good! Turned out well in my bread machine and will probably make again.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
I choose this recipe since it seemed to have the most positive reviews. Wow was I disappointed! Hubby liked them but he had never had blond brownies before. I made them exactly as the recipe called except only 1/2cup chocolate chips which were enough. If these had been in cookie form they probably would have rated better in my opinion.

Pseudo Sourdough for the Bread Machine

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
This was the first time ever that I used a bread maker and it turned out quite good. The reason for 4 stars is like others say it's not very sourdoughy. But it made quite a tasty loaf of bread and I wouldn't hesitate to make it again!

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
I always 1/3 the recipe for my husband and I. Best one I've found on here, yet is still missing something. Maybe next time I'll add some honey and cut the sugar. Still very good though, moist with a good texture and little bit sweet with out being overly sugary.

Cheesy Zucchini Casserole I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
This was really good! For the first time ever my husband ate something with zucchini! I made a few minor alterations for what I had on hand. 3 cups of zucchini, mixed in some mozzarella cheese and put a handful of sharp cheddar on top. Oh and I put it in a 8X8 pan and which seemed about right.

Honey Cornbread

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
I hate to say it but hubby and I were rather disappointed. I've been looking for a honey cornbread recipie that was as good as the add water and egg packages from the grocery store and this just wasn't it. I may try it again with some changes though.

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
I did what others suggested and upped the brown sugar and ketchup to 1/2 cup each and added a little less soy sauce to cut the salt. Flavor was really good my only complaint was that they were a little dried out. Could have been the pork chops or coulda been my crock pot. But will definitely try making them again.

Zucchini in Sour Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
Very good! I thought it was great even though I still couldn't get my husband to try it. Zucchini's just to far out of his comfort range. Definitely plan on making it again!

Ranch Crispy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
Very good, will make again! I did dip the chicken breast in egg to help the coating stick which worked really well. Didn't taste to salty to me or my husband and we're used to low salt dishes.

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
Very good! I used 1/3 cup of the maple syrup and soy sauce when I did mine. Even my picky husband liked them and gave the thumbs up for making them again. I thought the flavor was good but it is somewhat mild so if you're looking for bold or spicy go elsewhere.

Slow-Cooked Cherry Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
Yummy easy way to do pork chops. I thought the cherries complimented the pork nicely. I didn't have the chicken bouillon but didn't miss it.
