Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
YUM YUM YUM. Had this today and it was out of this world good. I did double the jalapeno's, next time I will not, just a little to spicy for me. And I baked it and served it with toasted french bread. But I am so glad I finally tried it, this is going into my recipe box. Thansk so much for the keeper.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
This was awesome. Everyone loved them some mashed potatoes last night. I did as others suj. and added Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese, garlic salt, oregano, Italian Cheese Blend and put a clothe over the pot before I put the lid on to catch the condensation off the lid. I will never make any other mashed potatoes again.

Marshmallow Brownies

Very good. Loved this, I only used marshmallows and butterscotch chips and I used box brownies. You just need to make sure you line your pan.

Thanksgiving Won Tons

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2007
This is a great way to get rid of Thanksgiving leftovers. I thought it was kinda strange but it was very good! I did change a little, I used turkey, stuffing and dipped into cranberry sauce. My only suggestion is to bake them. After frying them my house smelt funny and they were a little greasy. But I will use this the day after every Thanksgiving. Maybe I will dip in gravy.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
This was very good, very thick and full of flavor. I baked it in a bundt pan as others sujested. The only thing was cutting it was a little tricky. I had a beautiful crust on top and it broke up as I was cutting it, next time I will but it in the freezer for 5 minutes before cutting or use a cupcake pan instead of the bundt. It is a very pretty cake too. Thanks

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
This is the best sangria I have ever had. I did not use the carbonated water but did add 2 cans of gingerale and most definitely needs to sit at least overnight. Thanks for this definite keeper.

Chicken Chimichangas

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
Thanks for the recipe! I did however change a few things to make it a little easier. First I put the chicken in a crock-pot with seasoning and peppers for 10 hours. I used 8 chicken breast so I could make enchiladas also. I used the Chicken Enchiladas I recipe for the chicken mixture. Then for the rice I used zatarans jambalaya rice mix. SO YUMMY and very easy to make. Then I layered as you stated but baked them over some salsa in my pan and covered in cheese. I baked give or take for about 20-30 minutes covered, then 5 min uncovered. Served it with cornbread and the left over rice mixture. I placed them over lettuce and topped with sour cream. This was a huge hit with my lovely husband, thanks so much, Rebecca.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
THIS WAS GREAT!!! The only modifications I made were the following: Instead of the green pepper I use green chilies, Monterey jack, 2 Tbsp chili powder, refried beans, 1/2 jar tomato sauce, enchilada sauce in place of the salsa, 5 Tbsp of cream cheese. I served with red beans and rice, cornbread and served them on a bed of shredded lettuce and topped them with salsa and sour cream. Thank You so much for a great, great meal.

Banana Muffins II

This recipe was good. Like other readers, I added 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp of nutmeg. I am only giving it 4 stars because I have had better.

Karen's Baked Banana Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
Very Yummy. Thanks so much for a new flip on French toast. It was so easy. Next time I will follow as others suggested and use sliced bananas, the mashed came out just a little bit runny. I added powdered sugar over them and I served it with strawberry soup (recipe on this site). Thanks Karen

Chilled Strawberry Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
Very yummy but the consistency was like water even after it set overnight. I followed others suggestions to add more sugar and it came out perfect. The only thing is that my husband tossed the spoon and drank his bowl like a caveman. Thanks
