Smooth Sweet Tea

Great recipe. I tried adding 1/2 cup lemon juice and the result was superb. Now, I make it on daily basis as my refreshing drink while on diet. My tip: skip the sugar and add 1 cup of unsweetened pineapple juice to 3 cups of this recipe without the sugar. The result is one liter of refreshing drink to enjoy while dieting with only 133 calories (of pineapple). You can also use orange juice or whatever unsweetened juice you like. But I use pineapple for the fat burning property of it.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

This was so yummy and so easy. I used 3/4 bottle (12 fl oz bottle) buffalo sauce, 1/2 bottle (8 fl oz bottle) ranch dressing, & 6 breast halves (1 pound). Put all at once in the slow cooker for 2 hours. Shred the chicken, add 1/2 stick butter, put on low for further 2 hours, then served it with ranch dressing on burger buns. So yummy!

Baked Eggplant Sandwiches

Pomegranate molasses is tangy not sweet, so cannot be replaced with any other molasses. I would replace it with tamarind soaked in water or balsamic vinegar if I don't have pomegranate molasses. Also, Halloumi cheese (which is goat cheese) goes well with eggplant not any other type of goat cheese. If I don't have halloumi cheese, I would use mozzarella cheese not a goat cheese.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Excellent recipe. Changes I made: substituted poppy seeds with toasted sunflower seeds, decreased sugar to 1/4 cup, used 1/3 cup red wine vinegar (whatever I found) instead of the 2 kinds mentined, and raisins instead of dried cranberries. Thanks Jamie for sharing this recipe.

Rich and Creamy Roasted Eggplant Soup

This is the best soup I've ever made. I highly recommend it. I used olive oil instead of the vegetable oil, and used dry Middle Eastern thyme (mixed with sesame seed) instead of the fresh thyme. I also did not use the goat cheese.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

So delicious! I cut chicken into small pieces and used 2 fresh tomatoes cut into cubes instead of the caned tomatoes. I increased the thyme to 2 tablespoons, and did not use rosemary and basil. I also decreased the amount of vinegar to about 1/4 cup.
