About this Cook
I'm 30 something and live in the heart of the Midwest.
My favorite things to cook
I am TRULY a baker!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am the MASTER of the BUNDT pan. :)
My cooking triumphs
I love to take my baking creations to parties. I love to hear the side conversation, 'what did she bake this time?'
My cooking tragedies
I am trying in earnest to get my timing down while using the oven for multiple things. I've had quite a few casualties.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast
Great recipe. Next time I'll just eliminate the salt all together. I think the other spices make up for the deficit. I loved how juicy this roast was but I LITERALLY had to rinse it before serving. SALT OVERLOAD. Kosher salt, table salt, no matter.. TOO SALTY.

Honey Lemon Tea
This is TRIED and TRUE. No sugar necessary. I add a shot of whiskey. It soothes my throat and allows me to sleep!

Monkey Bread I
This was the EASIEST recipe EVER! The bread wasn't out of the oven 10 minutes and my other half was pulling at it. FYI - be sure to layer the sauce in between the dough. otherwise you'll have dry spots. Good Luck!
