About this Cook
I've always loved baking, but decided cooking new things for my parents and brothers would be fun after watching cooking shows on PBS...
My favorite things to cook
Anything that's made from fresh ingredients. Or anything new to my family.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My father is Lithuanian so he and his friends get together every year and make Kielbasi. It's always in our freezer and shows up at every family function. That's not really cooking...
My cooking tragedies

Cantonese Style Pork and Shrimp Dumplings
INCREDIBLE! I can't say enough good things about them. They were a little bit of work but SO worth it. I made 50 to feed 6 people and they were gone before I knew it. Instant favorite - even with my non-seafood eating brothers! Thanks!

Vegetable Lo Mein
Pretty good! I used the other reviews and left out the honey. My veggies got soggy but I think that's because it sat too long over heat while I made other things. But I'd make it again and use peas etc. Yum!

Fabulous Fajitas
Made over spring break and my brothers inhaled it! I made it again to eat in my dorm room - it's great cold and mixed up with some cheese and sour cream. Definitely recommend this.
