About this Cook
I am 28 yrs old and Cooking use to be a chore to me. I didn't like doing it so I always just made the basic EASY meals that I grew up on (Spaghetti, burgers, tacos, etc.)..then all of a sudden a couple years ago, I began to love it!! It is a major stress releiver to me. I love trying new recipes for my family to try.
My favorite things to cook
Brasilian, Mexican, Indian, Mediterranean...I love cooking foods from other cultures!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I loved makiing xmas cookies with my mother...that is my most missed memory of her:) I LOVE YOU MOM!!!
My cooking triumphs
I cooked Thanksgiving ALL myself for my family the last couple of years...It was ALOT of work, but well worth it....I love the feeling when people taste your food and can't stop talking about how good it is:)
My cooking tragedies
I can cook so many things, but for some reason, I mess up rice ALOT?!? It is such a simple thing to make and easy to follow directions, but what I do wrong, I have NO IDEA? Any suggestions? lol

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken
Man...my family won't stop talking about this recipe, if they only knew how EASY it was!! The only changes I made was to ad garlic powder, lemon pepper and paprika. I also mixed babreque sauce with a thick steak sauce (i know it sounds strange, but it is part of my dad's secret recipe for barbeque sauce and sooooo tasty) Thanks for a GREAT easy recipe:)

English Baked Potatoes
These were delicious but there was way to much olive oil for my taste. I will start off next time with 1 tablespoon. I also took the advice of others and added season salt, pepper, and parsley. I also broiled them and they turned out so crisp! Make sure you cut them thin for extra crisp potatoes. Will make again! Thanks:)
