Pear and Blue Cheese Salad
This is fantastic! I made everything as listed; the dressing was just perfect. I brought it to a dinner party and it was the dish everyone commented on. As others said, for this size salad you only need about half the dressing the recipe makes.

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry
I'm rating the sauce, since I used a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies and tossed in shrimp too. The sauce is a really good base to adjust to your own taste. I cut the ginger in half since I only had powdered ginger; I'd like to try it again with ginger root. I also left out the salt b/c soy sauce adds enough salt for me. I added a couple drops of sesame oil too. It was a really pleasant, mild sauce, which I'll definitely use again and tweak in the future. Thanks for the recipe!

Banana Crumb Muffins
It might not be fair to rate given the number of mods I made... but this recipe was a great base to start from. The end result was a moist, delicious muffin with banana flavor, great crumb, and crunch on top. Changes to the batter: canola oil instead of melted butter, add 1 tsp vanilla, use 1/4 c brown sugar and 1/2 c white, add 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg to the dry ingredients. For the topping I just used finely chopped pecans and granola, which toasted beautifully in the oven. Next time I'll press the topping down into the batter a little, it didn't sink in by itself so it falls off when you pick up the muffin. Thanks so much for the ideas!
