About this Cook
Just the average guy, my wife and I love to cook. Sure the dishes afterwards arent fun but the food is great. My brother is a Chef in Ft collins and pretty much everyone in my family has a natural taste for cooking. I will try anything until I get it right. The only food that does not agree with my palate is Yams.
My favorite things to cook
Cheesecake I have only cooked about 20 over the past 2 years but all have turned out well. Just starting a variety of breads. Of course I enjoy grilling salmon, vegetables, and poultry.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Breadbowls on Christmas Eve. Most any soup is up for grabs but my dad's Chili is almost always served with a companion.
My cooking triumphs
I have been working on developing a Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. Anyone with suggestions is welcome. But the last time I created it I sauteed the bean in butter after removing the seeds, then I used the butter for the crust, was a very big hit.
My cooking tragedies
Some days you are just off and I have my fair share. For you own sake I wont describe them but the last one involved a very poorly grilled steak and several friends.

Easy Biscuit Mixture
As a finished product this is absolutely great, I wanted a good bulk recipe that I could make ad hoc. However, this recipe is in need of some serious editing for people who dont know what "Use as you would a baking mix" I would suggest to the creator that they add ratios for fluid, baking temp reccomendations, you know the stuff of normal recipes. Taste = great! Writing style = poor 3 stars.
