About this Cook
I am a full time wife and mom who loves Jesus and loves to bake!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake pies and cookies. And I love anything and everything pumpkin! My slow cooker is my best friend.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I use my great grandmother's recipe for pie crust; it is a family favorite and always turns out flaky and delicious. For special occasions my family loves Eggs Benedict and mimosas for breakfast and Steak Oscar for dinner.
My cooking triumphs
I made a lemon meringue pie that turned out great on my first try.
My cooking tragedies
Vodka pasta. I used a recipe from Rachel Ray. It was horrible...

Fabulous Wet Burritos
These were soooooooo yummy. I didn't have tomato soup or chili, so I just used enchilada sauce. This was so quick and easy. Will be making this on a regular basis from now on!

Eggnog Quick Bread
I wanted to love this, but it turn out as good as I'd hoped. I had to bake it for 1hr and 15 min. It was really hard/crunchy on the outside and hard to cut through.
