Braided Egg Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
This bread was DELICIOUS!! I halved the recipe, and still got an enormous loaf; next time I'll make 2 loaves from the half recipe. I did also double the amount of sugar, and it turned out perfect. I'll definitely be making these to give to friends on special occasions. Thank you!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I can finally make bread thanks to this recipe!! Made the dough using my Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hooks. I made a couple of changes (but I'm sure it would have been just as delicious if I hadn't): I used melted butter in the place of the oil, threw in about a cup of raisins when the dough began to pull together, and added about 1.5 tbsp of cinnamon. This recipe gave me loaves; my husband finished one of them within two hours of coming out of the oven! Thanks--

Caramel-Glazed Flan

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
Wow! Delicious! I used 4 whole eggs instead of mostly whites since I just hate to waste those yolks, and it turned out amazing. Thanks for sharing!

Carrot Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
Loved these! They were extremely moist and tender. I didn't have the pineapple, coconut, or raisins, so I just omitted them and put some homemade cream cheese frosting on top and they were delicious! Make sure to add plenty of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, clove...they could MAYBE be bland without enough spice. Will make again!

Hamantashen

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
SO good!! I made mine with orange marmalade instead of poppyseed filling, and found it easier to pull off a small ball of dough and roll it into a circle rather than using a cookie cutter. Will definitely make many MANY more.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
Delicious! We used this as our main dish for Thanksgiving dinner and it was a huge hit! Just a couple modifications we made: used leftover roasted chicken breast, used steamed vegetables (carrots, peas, potatoes, grean beans and edamame), and added a couple shots of beer to the gravy. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome recipe! I have a whole freezer full of blackberries, and I'm glad to finally have a great cobbler recipe to use them in!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: May 21, 2007
I stopped trying any other blueberry muffin recipes: this one is all I need. They're terrific as-is, but I also liked them with a little lemon zest added. Thanks!
