Buttery Soft Pretzels
One Word - AWESOME!!! To make a bit more healthy I substituted 2 of the 3 cups of white flour for whole wheat flour. I used my kitchen aid to do all the kneading. To let the dough rise, I heated my oven to 200 degrees and then turned it off for about 15 or 20 minutes and placed the kneaded dough in the oven. It doubled in about an hour and 20 minutes. Instead of greasing a pan, I used parchmant paper. Once in the over, they only took about 6 minutes to bake up golden brown. As soon as I got them out of the oven, I sprayed some low calorie fat free spray butter on them and brushed the butter into them with a pastry brush. The result is simply outstanding!!! I've tried numerous other pretzel recipes and this one is by far the best and actually the easiest too. Thanks for the great recipe!!!!

Mama D's Italian Bread
Excellent Bread. My husband ate an entire loaf in one sitting. I followed the recipe exactly for one batch. But for my second bath, I substitute about 2 cups of the all purpose flour with whole grain wheat four. Still very good, and a little bit more nutritious.

Honey Wheat Bread I
Very tasty. I substituted canola oil for the shortening as suggested by other reviewers, and it turned out great. My whole family loves this bread. I will be making this again and again.
