Creamy Chocolate Frosting

GREAT frosting! I used this on the Peanut Butter Cupcakes from this site. I split the recipe in half as suggested by other reviewers and it was a HUGE mistake! I was only able to cover twelve cupcakes with the recipe halved. Perhaps this is because of the way I frost cupcakes-I put the frosting in a gallon size zip top bag and cut one of the bottom tips off (using it as a pastry bag). Next time I will definitely not half the recipe. Very delicious! Thanks for the recipe, Tracy!

Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Great cupcakes, but as another reviewer said, there is way too much batter for 24 cupcakes. This caused the cupcakes to spill over the edges and the result was not pretty. Mine didn't rise either, But the flavor was great once I frosted these with the Creamy Chocolate Frosting recipe from this site! MMMMM!

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Delicious! The only problem was that although I sprayed the crud out of my nonstick muffin tin, the suckers stuck in there, so they did not come out beautifully. But as I said, DELICIOUS!!!

Pork Dumplings

Wonderful! I don't eat pork, so I replace it with ground chicken. This recipe makes SO much filling. I buy extra wrappers, construct, and freeze the rest. I have also made "chinese meatballs" out of the extra filling and served as a chicken lo mein. Update:still love these things...and eat with pork now. Reduced recipe by half, still made enough to freeze. Cheated and used prepacked coleslaw mix so I didn't have to mess with chopping cabbage (such a pain!) also still used the whole egg. Used my measuring teaspoon to fill wrappers. Perfect amount.

Apple Turnovers

Delicious! We ate them without the glaze and they were awesome! Messy to fill, not knowing how much to put in each puff pastry square. Once I figure out exactly how much is not too much or too little, I'll be a happy camper! Thanks for the easy and tasty recipe!!!! Oh, and also, there was quite a bit of filling left over. I stuck it in tupperware and plan to pour it piping hot over vanilla icecream and graham cracker pieces. MMMMMM!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

So delicious! I used semi-sweet, milk, and white chocolate chips in these cookies since I didn't have 2 cups of semi-sweet in the pantry. My suggestion if you do this is to use less sugar because of the added sweetness in the other chocolates. Such a perfect cookie:crispy edges with soft middles. Mmmmm!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

My first pot roast! This turned out so well! Thank you for the recipe! I threw in a couple of carrots and my husband loved the flavor of them. He dug through the pot to pick them out. Today I plan to make it again, but with more carrots and potato. I also add thick slices of onion and use beef broth in place of the water.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

I hate to give bad reviews. The taste was amazing, but the bread didn't bake through even with a longer baking time. It was raw and gummy and the bottom halves of the loaves stuck in the pan. We still ate some of it and as I said, the flavor was terrific, but it wasn't bread. Sorry.
