Basic Ham and Bean Soup
This soup is fabulous! I needed to use up leftover ham from Christmas and found this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly (except I didn't have any bay leaves). I like my soup with a good bit of broth, so for the last 30 minutes, I added more water and threw the bone back in. It was GREAT anyway, but I just wanted more broth. Next time I'll increase it in the beginning. No probelms with the beans for me, but I may cook it a little longer than the intended time to soften them a bit more. The recipe is fabulous as is!

White Peach Sangria
I love this! I've made it 3 times now and it gets rave reviews each time. I use peach schnaaps (had on hand) and concentrated apple juice. (can't handle acidic juices) Thank you for sharing, it's a keeper! Sometimes I mix some with diet 7up over ice. Fabulous!

Braised Balsamic Chicken
First review for me - I LOVE this dish! I have now prepared it twice. I used to get this dish made for me at a local Italian place. Now I can make it at home! Thank you! I put mine over angel hair pasta, and I also cut up the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Also, the first time I made it, I only had diced tomatoes with green chilies. Gives it a bite and my husband loved it. Next time, I made it with regular tomatoes and still love it. thanks!
