Chantal's New York Cheesecake
Wow times 10. I think this is absolutely the best cheesecake. I've never made cheesecake before, and this recipe worked like a charm. I used skim milk and it still worked amazingly great. Also, I don't own a Springform pan, so I baked much of the recipe in a 9x13 pan and a pie pan. It turned out to be so much. I served the 9x13 at a NYE party, and everyone raved about how good it was. It was devoured in no time!
Also, I was using the oven all day, so I had baked it for the hour it suggested and didn't open the oven once in case it would crack. However, I took it out immediately, let it cool and put it in the fridge. No cracking, turned out beautiful. I wish i had a picture to share.
