About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
My husband says the biggest cooking tragedy was my first experience with cooking fresh shrimp years ago.I had never been exposed to fresh shrimp coming straight off of the shrimp boats, did not know all of the steps needed to clean and prepare. Long story short I did not peel the shrimp after they came to me with the heads taken off.I fried the shrimp and they were so beautiful, golden brown and such a pretty presentation;first bite and they sure were crunchy. My husband was absolutely beside himself lauging. It was even worse because his sister & her husband were visiting and I sure did want to impress them. To this day he still loves to remind me of the cooking tragedy when I fried my first fresh shrimp. I tell him that it was his fault for bringing a young farm girl to the ocean and expecting her to know all about seafood.

Fresh Tomato Pie
Very good! Taste was great and a pretty presentation. Super when it is hot ;right out of the oven is when it really tastes so good! I did reheat some of the slices and they were good, but it is so good when it is fresh from the oven. I added bacon to the second pie as someone had suggested and my family really liked the taste the bacon added. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
Great recipe! I used the chicken breast as suggested by someone else (our personal preference) and they did super. So moist and such great taste. Family suggests that our chicken always be prepared by this recipe.

World's Best Lasagna
Super! Loved the flavors of the sauce and everyone commented on how it tasted like it was from an Italian restaurant. Made one to take to someone who is recovering from surgery, her family said they want me to fix another one. Served with a salad it is a super meal! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
