Real Hungarian Goulash (No Tomato Paste Here)
First time to try this. I did not have lard available at home, but all other ingredients were on hand. I used butter and went right into it. After two hours it was near ready. I added coarse Mediterranean salt to taste and fresh ground pepper corn from the Philippines. Well it went over very well with the wife and kids! Just a bit left for me to take for work tonight. Easy and a keeper in my book. Thanks!

Split Pea and Sausage Soup
I went by the recipe. I only added water to the consistency that I wanted. The best I have ever made. Family loved it! And it was exactly perfect for brutally cold night. Don't forget your favorite bread!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
Made this for my first time tonight. For my son who is craving home cooking which lacks at university! Our staple here in South Texas is Fiesta brand Quick Chili Mix. I like to let it sit over night to blend flavors. Went by recipe to the T. When done had a Tablespoon taste. WOW! This Chili is THE ONE! My usual for all my life is now tossed out. The Pace picante is definitely a great addition! His Thanksgiving holiday at home will start with a nice hot bowl of Chili! Thank You!
