About this Cook
I am a wife to an amazing husband. I do not have any children, although we are a liscence foster-adopt family and awaiting children. I enjoy creative things that have to do with my hands, such as sewing, quilting, applique, embroidery and knitting. check out my knitting bolg at http://scarletpurls.blogspot.com.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking in the slow cooker and we have a chili recipe that goes a long way that is cooked in the slow cooker. I also enjoy making mexican food such as fish tacos and enchiladas. Most recently, my husband and I have taken up cake decorating and we have done several special occasion cakes. So I also enjoy the process or baking.

Lemon Rosemary Salmon
This recipe is delicious! Ok, so I used mahi mahi because I didnt have salmon, but did everything else the same. The flavor was mild, but elegant. I love the fragrance of rosemary baking in my oven. This meal presented very well with steamed broccoli. A simple gourmet recipe that is simple to do and quick too!

Orange Glorious I
very good! I doubled the sugar to make it a little more sweet. It was a little tart, but that made for a great smoothie, although I dont think that it taste like the smoothies at the mall.

South Carolina Sweet Tea
A easy recipe that is refreshing and satisfies my sweet tooth. Instead of using the coffee pot, I used the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker, putting the sugar in the pitcher before the tea was brewed. I used one cup of sugar. Would like to hear if anyone has tried it using a sugar substitute such as Splenda.
