Chocolate Pie II
This didn't turn out well for me. I cooked it in the microwave 3 one-minute increments; then I started using 50% power, as it was getting very thick, and I was afraid it would clump. I cooked it 2 more one-minute increments. The filling was runny and the taste was just okay. It has more of a chocolate, cocoa flavor, than sweet. I think I may increase the sugar by one-half, and cook it longer.

Cherry Fluff
A simple, easy dessert using on-hand ingredients! I tried it and LOVE IT! Husband ate it up. Going to try it next time with fresh strawberries! This is like "dump cake" - but it's a pie! I put it in a crushed graham crust and it was fab.

Fresh Strawberry Pie I
Slurpy and sloppy! I read the recipe, and compared it to an old one I already had - they were nearly identical (how hard could it be?) Like the other person, my pie was a disaster. Just LIQUID, never "set"...while I was stirring the "glaze", the sugar started balling up in the saucepan....I tried AGAIN, made another pan of glaze --- it did the same thing! I put the Jello in and threw it together anyway, hoping it would set in the fridge....never did. I wouldn't bother trying to make this again....I still don't know what I did "wrong"....maybe the heat was too high??? I don't know, it still should have set! I'm still looking for a good strawberry pie recipe, although my nine-year-old son, bless his heart, he ate the pie anyway, after I scooped it up IN A BOWL with whipped cream on top.
