I made just the brownies, no icing. I added a cup of peanut butter chips to a doubled batch. I probably could have baked them longer than 25 minutes in a 9x13 pan, but I wanted fudgy brownies and heeded the warnings not to overbake! They were deliciously soft and gooey and my word, SO rich. Definitely serve with ice cream or whipped cream! Great recipe for easy brownies from scratch.
